#Nollywood Movie Review Of ”Faaji Agba”

share on:

Remi Vaughan-Richards’ Faaji Agba, a historical documentary on the music of Fatai Rolling Dollar, Alaba Pedro, Eji Oyewole, Shina Ayinde-Bakare, S. F. Olowookere, Samson Adegbite, Taiye Anyowale, Nureini Sunmola, Kunle Adeniran and Niyi Ajileye.

The film, which for six years, journeys with the elderly musicians between 64 and 84 years as they try to rekindle their flagging careers; supported by four younger musicians; is anchored on the efforts of Kunle Tejuoso, the proprietor of Jazzhole Records.  The elderly maestros try their best possible to come back to reckoning and along the way, some of them begin their journeys to the great beyond.

Remi Vaughan-Richards (The Department; Abiye) is extolled for taking on this project; travelling far and wide with the Faaji Agba group to record events as they occur.
