NNPC Debunks Media Reports On Reduction Of Fuel Price From N87 To N57

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC has discredited reports of reduction in pump price of petrol from N87 per litre to N57, describing the report as false.

According to the oil giant, the general public are urged to ignore the speculation as petrol pump price remains N87 per litre.

Bear in mind, some online media house reported that the NNPC would start selling petrol for N57 in its Mega Stations Nationwide.

In the meantime, the NNPC plans on ensuring zero fuel queues throughout the country ahead of the forthcoming Yuletide and beyond.

This disclosure was made known yesterday in a meeting between the Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu and members of the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria (MOMAN) alongside Depot and Petroleum Products Association (DAPPMA) at NNPC Towers, Abuja.
