Liverpool have confirmed the departures of all their first team coaches as Jurgen Klopp prepares to take over as manager at Liverpool.
Sean O’Driscoll and Gary McAllister arrived at Anfield as part of Brendan Rodgers’ coaching team when he took over at Liverpool and both have been relieved of their coaching duties as their former boss was fired. Glenn Driscoll and Chris Davies have also left the job as first team coaches. Sean O’Driscoll, Glenn Driscoll and Chris Davies have all left the club, while Gary McAllister has taken up an ambassadorial role at Anfield according to a statement released by Liverpool on their website. “The club would like to place on record its thanks to all four men for the professionalism, commitment and dedication they have displayed during their time here, and the positive impact they have had in helping to support football operations and the team,” the statement read.
Jurgen Klopp is expected to take over as Liverpool manager within the next few days following the sacking of Brendan Rodgers after an underwhelming start to the season.
