Liverpool legend Stan Collymore has also joined in on weighing in on Jurgen Klopp and his next set of moves as Liverpool manager as the new Liverpool boss has been making all the headlines in the past week (this must drive Mourinho crazy).
Collymore revealed that he believes Benteke would not fit into the former Borussia Dortmund manager’s style and Klopp might have no choice but to offload the forward who arrived from Aston Villa for 32 million pounds this summer. “Benteke and Sturridge will almost have to reinvent themselves,” Collymore wrote in his Boylesports.com column. “Daniel can do it, make no mistake. But he’s going to have to prove his fitness to be in the manager’s long-term plans. As for Christian, I honestly don’t know if he’ll make it.” Collymore also stated that he believed Lallana would not fit into the Philosophy being propounded by Klopp as the former Southampton man is a little too slow and not intense enough to play Klopp’s high-pressing game.
Jurgen Klopp has been living life around Liverpool during the international break as he looks to hit the ground running at Liverpool next weekend after dubbing himself “the normal one”.
