Ings And Alli Get England Callups

New blood has been infused into the three lions of England, with Roy Hodgson handing callups to Liverpool’s Danny Ings and Tottenham’s Dele Alli.

England manager Roy Hodgson released his 24-man squad ahead of matches against Estonia and Lithuania, with the Euro 2016 qualifications already in the bag.

However Daniel Sturridge didn’t make the cut, as well as Luke Shaw, who is out due to injury. And Jack Grealish who recently declared for England also misses out.


Goalkeepers: Jack Butland, Joe Hart, Tom Heaton.

Defenders: Ryan Bertrand, Gary Cahill, Nathaniel Clyne, Kieran Gibbs, Phil Jagielka, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, John Stones.

Midfielders: Dele Alli, Ross Barkley, Michael Carrick, Adam Lallana, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jonjo Shelvey, Raheem Sterling.

Forwards: Danny Ings, Harry Kane, Wayne Rooney, Jamie Vardy, Theo Walcott.
