A brace against Bastia has rejuvenated Ibrahimovic, who has sent a warning shot to Madrid, saying his club is ready to take on them in the UCL.
Ibrahimovic scored the two goals in his side’s 2-0 win in the final 20 minutes of the game, to maintain the club’s five points lead at the top of the table.
PSG are now unbeaten in 10 league matches and are yet to lose in the UCL. But they have little chance to enjoy their win as they face Real Madrid in the UCL clash midweek.
“It’s a good result against Bastia, because we have beaten a difficult team to play against,” the 34-year-old told Sport24.
“We remembered our bad result here last season [in which PSG lost 4-2], but today we took the three points and continued our effort to win titles.”
“Wednesday’s game against Real Madrid will be completely different,” Zlatan added.
“We will play at home against one of the best teams in the world, it will be fun to play. Now we can focus on that and we are ready for them.”
