Everyone is getting suspended left and right. Which makes me wonder what the FIFA ethics committee has been up to in the past.
The latest member to be hit with a ban is Thailand Football Association president, Worawi Makudi, who has been hit with a 90-day ban.
FIFA suspended the Thai official from all football related activities, both national and international, with confirmation that the case is now the subject of a formal investigation.
Makudi is the latest high profile official to be handed a ban, with Blatter and Platini, alongside Valcke getting suspended last week.
Both deny any wrongdoing, with Blatter appealing his suspension on Friday – before Platini followed suit on Saturday – having also been alleged to have signed an “unfavourable” contract with the Caribbean Football Union in 2005 that market experts claim handed over World Cup television rights for a fraction of their market value.
