The first of 3 shortlists ahead of the 2015 FIFA Ballon D’Or has leaked, with the main talking point a number of shock inclusions.

Arsenal’s David Ospina, as well as Bournemouth duo Christian Atsu and Massimo Luongo somehow made their way into the 59-man list, which will be trimmed to 23 in December.

The list was compiled by FIFA’s Football Committee: Uefa president Michel Platini, Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore, Watford coach Harry Kewell, football legend Pelé, amongst others.

Surprise omissions on the list include Juventus legend Gianluigi Buffon, Bayern Munich’s Phillip Lahm and Barcelona’s Sergio Busquets.
