England produced another above average performance as they beat Lithuania 3-0 to finish their European Championship qualifier run with a 100 percent win record.
England controlled the game from kick off but didn’t look exceptionally dangerous despite managing to fashion out some good openings. In the 29th minute, Everton man, Ross Barkley continued his impressive run for England as his deflected shot from distance bounced in off the post to give England the lead. England continued to make their advantage count and in the 35th minute, Kane was played in following a one-two with Lallana but the Tottenham’s man shot hit the post before hitting Arlauskis, the Lithuanian goalkeeper and rolling into the net. England looked to slow the pace of the game down in the second half and in the 62nd minute, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain rounded off the victory as he fired high into the net after being supplied by Kyle Walker.
England would now have their sights set on dominating Europe in a few months’ time when they jet off to France for Euro 2016
