Johann Cruyff diagnosed with lung cancer
Reports coming from Spain say that Holland legend Johann Cruyff has been diagnosed with lung cancer.
Various media houses reported that Cruyff, 68, was diagnosed with the illness on Tuesday, and is being tested to find out the extent of the disease.
Cruyff is regarded as one of football’s greats, winning three European cups while at Ajax and leading the Netherlands to the World Cup final in 1974.
Cruyff also had a successful career as a manager, winning one European cup, one European Cup Winner’s Cup, and four La Liga titles as manager of Barcelona.
It’s not Cruyff’s first medical issue, as he had double heart bypass surgery in 1991.
