Barcelona and Netherlands footballing legend, Johan Cruyff has criticized both Jose Mourinho and Louis Van Gaal as he spoke about the premiership and two managers who spent time as employees of Barcelona.

Cruyff criticized Van Gaal for his lack of dominance in matches claiming that Manchester United have struggled to control matches under the Dutch manager. “He doesn’t dominate. I like dominating football. Manchester doesn’t play like that,” Cruyff told Sky Sports News. When asked if he thought Van Gaal was being cautious he responded saying: “I don’t think so [that Van Gaal is too cautious], but it’s strange that against strong teams they’ve got good results and with weak teams they’ve had difficulties. That’s a strange situation.”

Jose Mourinho wasn’t left out in the interview as Cruyff claimed Mourinho put himself in the spotlight more than necessary in recent times. “He’s controversial. What I like about him is he’s always capable of creating good ambience within the players and what I don’t like is that he always puts himself on the first row. He should be on the second row,” Cruyff also went on to state that Mourinho needed to take responsibility for his sides performance.

Now we sit and wait for a response from at least one of the two very vocal and controversial managers.
