Claudio Ranieri thinks Jamie Vardy could on to be one of the top strikers after scoring for the eighth Premier League game in a row today.
Vardy netted in Leicester’s 3-2 win over West Brom to move just two games away from equalling Ruud van Nistelrooy’s league record of 10 successive matches.
“Jamie is just starting his career now,” said Ranieri. “He comes from non-league but for him it is not too late to arrive at a high, high level. I wish all the best for him.”
There has been speculation that Real Madrid are interested in the 28-year-old.
