City Go Top, As Manchester Derby Ends In Stalemate

In a match that was to decide who would top the league table, the men of Manchester did battle at United, and the derby ended in a stalemate.

The stalemate worked out well for Manchester City, as the boys from across town as gone back to the summit of the league.

The Manchester derby was a dour and dull one, as the only shot on target came as late as the 82nd minute, with both United and City registering just one shot on target from six shots played.

United failed to register a single shot for the whole of the first half, but the restart told a different story, as Schneiderlin almost converted a corner.

While the visitors, City who are without Aguero and Silva struggled to turn up for the Manchester derby and only Hart saved them from the last gasp United implemented in attack, with Lingard hitting the crossbar and Smalling forcing a save from Hart.
