Biko! Is It Fair? Lecturer Turns Bricklayer Due To Non-Payment Of 6-Months Salary

A well respected lecturer of the Kwara State College of Education, Oro, Mr. Kayode Odeyemi has been exposed to hard labour as a result of the inability of the Kwara State government to pay workers salary.

LecturerIt was learnt that he subjected himself to work as a bricklayer at an ongoing building site in order to get his daily bread.

lecturerMr. Kayode, who uploaded his photos online, appealed to the Kwara government to rescue the situation, adding that the hardship many lecturers are going through as a result of the non-payment of salaries is unbearable and unwarranted.

He said he has no option than to do what he’s doing so as to be able to feed and cater for the home.

He earns N1500 per day. Biko, is it fair?
