A senior Barcelona official traveled to Italy at the weekend to run the rule on three Serie A starlets, reports gianlucadimarzio.com.
Barca’s international sporting director Ariedo Braida attended Sassuolo’s 2-1 defeat of Lazio on Sunday in order to monitor three players.
One of those players was Lazio’s Brazilian midfielder Felipe Anderson, who scored for the visitors. The 22-year-old, who is under contract until 2020, is valued at €20m.
Meanwhile, Braida also evaluated the Sassuolo duo of Sime Vrsaljko and Domenico Berardi. The former, a Croatian right-back, is rated at around €7.5m, while the latter, an Italian winger, would cost around €17.5m.
