New York City FC midfielder Andrea Pirlo has ruled out a return to Europe for the MLS off-season.
Pirlo’s side saw their season end on Monday evening, missing out on the MLS play-offs, but he told Gazzetta dello Sport a return is not on the cards.
“I don’t think I will return, it would not be fair to my current club,” he said. “All I’m thinking about is training this off season for the 2016 campaign at New York.”
Although Pirlo has officially ruled out returning to Europe this January, his teammates David Villa and Frank Lampard are yet to make any official comment on such possibility
