We can categorically state that Carlo Ancelotti will not be coaching Liverpool or any club this season, as the former Real Madrid and Chelsea manager will be resting for this season.
Ancelotti was touted to come in as a replacement for Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool, but it seems Jurgen Klopp will be signing a deal at The Kop.
Ancelotti who has not had a job since he was sacked by Real Madrid, says he is happy to stay out of the dugout for one more season.
He told the Associated Press at the Inspiring Leaders Awards on Tuesday night: “I enjoy my time now but of course I want to come back to manage – to work – because it is my passion.
“I want to take my time to rest, but next season I am ready.”
