Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been praised by former PSG manager, Carlo Ancelotti who has told the world that the 34 year old forward is not yet past his best.
Ibrahimovic joined PSG from AC Milan in 2012 and that transformed PSG into a major contender in Europe and Ancelotti managed the PSG side that went on to win the Ligue 1 in 2013 and he considers the big Swede as one of the best footballers in the world right now.
“For many attackers it is an age when you are finished, but not for Ibra,” Ancelotti said in an interview with Le Parisien. “He can still play at this level for a few years because he has maintained his enthusiasm. And as he trains very seriously and he still wants to win with PSG, he is not on the decline.” Ancelotti also told reporters that PSG were among the four major contenders for the UEFA champions league this season alongside Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes he is the best in the world and he is not in a decline. It is nice that Ancelotti stated it to the world but Ibra didn’t really need the reassurance, did he?
