West Brom will be having a talk with frustrated striker Saido Berahino, following a failed deadline day transfer to Tottenham.
Berahino will also be fined for his comments on Twitter, which were directed at club chairman Jeremy Peace.
Peace rejected two bids for the striker from Tottenham, criticizing their antics for trying to get the 22-year-old cheaply.
Berahino who had a transfer request rejected by West Brom, willeet with Tony Pulis and other key figures at the club.
Spurs also had two other bids for the forward rejected in the summer. and Peace told the club website after Tuesday’s deadline passed: “Those tactics have continued despite my making our position clear in my first conversation with Daniel Levy on this subject in mid-August.
“I said selling Saido so late in the window was not on our agenda. We are now left with the task of repairing the damage created by this unfortunate episode.”
