Luck played out well for Tottenham today as they welcomed table toppers, Manchester City. Sealing a 4-1 victory to hand City their second league loss with Kane getting one in.
A string of offsides missed by officials helped Tottenham to what can be called a needed win for a Spurs side that have not been clinical enough.
De Bruyne opened the scoring in the 25th minute and there were suggestions placing him in front of the last spurs defender marginally.
For the equaliser though, Kyle Walker was clearly offside, but his shot was badly cleared, allowing Eric Dier to fire in from 30 yards.
Alderweireld got on the score sheet when he headed in the goal that put Tottenham ahead. And Kane who has been criticised for his bad start opened the scoring when he latched on to Eriksen’s free kick, which struck the bar. Replays suggested Kane was also offside.
Lamela put the final nail in the coffin, giving United an opportunity to get ahead of City.
