The Weeknd makes Billboard history
The Weeknd released his Beauty Behind The Madness album at the end of August, and the album is setting records already.
The album, which sold 300,000 copies in its first week, has 12 of its 14 songs in the Hot 100’s Top 50, the most ever by a non-rapper in a single week.
All the songs on the album have now been on the chart, as earlier singles Often and Earned It also recorded huge chart success.
I Can’t Feel My Face & The Hills, both released as singles, are in top 3 on the Hot 100 chart, making The Weekend the first male artist since T.I in 2008 to do that.
He also becomes the 6th artiste ever to have double-digit number of tracks on the Hot 100 at the same time, joining Drake, The Beatles, Lil Wayne, Taylor Swift & David Cook.
