Southampton Won’t Enter Any Deal With Tottenham Hotspur

According to the Daily Telegraph, Southampton insist they will not sell midfielder Victor Wanyama to Tottenham next year at any price.

Southampton have also stressed they are now reluctant to do any business at all with Spurs over any player and, like a number of Premier League clubs, have become exasperated with the North London club’s transfer dealings.

Spurs unsettled Morgan Schneiderlin last summer by expressing an interest in the France international and they did the same during the latest window when Wanyama tried to force through a move away from St Mary’s.

West Brom were annoyed with Spurs’ conduct in their pursuit of Saido Berahino, and West Ham were frustrated when Emmanuel Adebayor’s move to Upton Park fell through after chairman Daniel Levy refused to subsidise the striker’s wages.
