Pedro is confident he made the right choice in switching Barcelona for Chelsea, insisting that the greater play time will increase his chances of making the Spain squad.
Pedro completed a £19 million move to Chelsea last month and was instrumental in his first match, scoring one and setting up Costa for another.
Pedro saw his playing time at Barcelona reduced with the attacking triumvirate of Messi, Neymar and Suarez edging him out.
“I am happy with how my time has started at Chelsea,” the winger is quoted as saying by Fifa’s official website.
“When you have more minutes you can play at a different rhythm with more confidence and a different mentality.
“I am sure the move will be very good for me to play both at Chelsea and with the national team.”
