Oh well. Arsenal star Mesut Ozil believes if he’s to win the Ballon D’or, he has to be more ruthless and selfish in front of goal.
The Ballon D’or has been shared between Messi and Ronaldo since 2010, and it’ll be a while before it change hands.
Ozil who scored just five goals in 32 games for Arsenal, believes he needs more goals if he’s to challenge the top dogs.
Arsene Wenger has charged the playmaker to score double digits this season, but injury might just be a problem.
“I have to become more dangerous in front of the goal,” he said when asked about winning the individual accolade.
“I was injured for long spells last season, and scored only five in 32 competitive games. I want to improve this. To achieve it, I have to be a bit more egotistical.”
