Despite spending two seasons without a title challenge and worse off, going trophy-less for two straight seasons the first time in 30 years Manchester United are still the most loved club by tourists who visit England. Two consecutive FA cup wins have also helped Arsenal as they now stand right up there with Manchester United in tourist stadium visits.
In a recent survey by Metro, it was revealed that Manchester United And dwarfed other English clubs in number of tourist visits to their homeground. About 109,000 tourists visited Old Trafford and the Emirates this summer, putting Manchester United and Arsenal way ahead of the likes of Chelsea (89,000) and Manchester City (33,000). Liverpool came in third at 89,000 visits while Tottenham also made the list and sit above Manchester City.
