Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Angel Di Maria has revealed that the players at the club are motivated by the progress they see.
The Argentine midfielder joined PSG from United for a fee worth £44 million, after spending just one season at Old Trafford.
After making an impression in his first match for the club, Di Maria has said he is glad with the progress his new club is making on and off the pitch.
“My first impressions of my new team-mates? Very good. I knew all the players a little but when I came here I have seen their qualities and the way they train,” the 27-year-old said.
“It’s possible to work in good conditions and to progress on every level, I believe that his allows improvement, the opportunity to continue winning.
“The club has progressed enormously and that is motivating the players, too.”
“Was I impatient for my PSG debut? Yes, of course. After my first match I was content. I had to wait for it,” he added.
“I had been training for two and a half weeks and I was desperate to play, to play with my team-mates and try to show my qualities. I had a great desire. Thank God it happened and all went well. I gave an assist and the happiness was total”
