Buhari asks officials to declare assets: President asks officials to follow lead

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Abia State chapter, Chairman, Reverend Theophilus Anyimson, has on Thursday reacted to allegations that President Muhammadu Buhari may be planning to Islamise Nigeria.

Speaking during the inauguration of a church project in Umuahia, Ayimso said, ‘‘Nobody can Islamise Nigeria. Presidents will come and go and Nigeria will remain. They say Buhari has come to Islamise this country but I tell people that it is not true. He has come to rule for four years or eight years, and he will leave and Nigeria continues”

He said that Nigeria is too large a country and it occupies an important place in God’s agenda that no single individual can unilaterally alter God’s plan for the country.
