Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc is confident that midfielder, Blaise Matuidi is capable of hitting 10 goals or more this season.
Matuidi has helped PSG take an early lead in the season, scoring two goals in two matches already this campaign.
Matuidi who joined the capital club from Saint-Ettiene is well known for his defensive attributes, but his coach is optimistic he can score goals this season.
“You see his progress because he scored two goals, but if he didn’t then you wouldn’t. If he hadn’t you wouldn’t be talking about him,” Blanc told reporters.
“He has the physical qualities to get into the penalty area and i’ve always said he is a player who could score 10 goals a season.
“Even when other players are tired, he has the physical strength to still to push on and play to his maximum.”
