Yesterday, Vincent Enyeama, Nigeria’s captain and Losc Lille Goalkeeper pulled out of the Super Eagles squad following the death of his mother.
Enyeama had pulled out earlier yesterday, calling new head coach, Sunday Oliseh and asking to be excluded from the squad to face Tanzania without giving a reason but it was later learnt that that Enyeama had lost his mum this week. Enyeama took to Instagram to offer Nigerians an apology to Nigerians for his inability to compete for the super eagles as he told the world he was in pains.
So sorry I won't make it out there to wear this shirt.so sorry that I won't be standing there singing the anthem of my sweet NIGERIA.#WEARENIGERIA.i wish that this darkness didn't come in daylight.i wish that I could turn back the hand of time.i wish,I just wish that I could take away this pain.let the rain wash away this pain ???????
