David Beckham seemingly took no offence as Sir Alex Ferguson excluded him from the list of world class players he managed during his time at Old Trafford.

Alex Ferguson named, Ryan Giggs, Eric Cantona, Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Scholes as the elites of his players, quizzically leaving out English legends, David Beckham and Wayne Rooney. Beckham had a famous falling out with Ferguson in 2003 and a move to Real Madrid followed for the husband of Victoria Beckham. Despite growing to become one of the biggest manes in World football, Beckham insists his former gaffer was right. “I tend to agree with the manager, there’s certain players that you can call world-class, thankfully I played with many of them. I was lucky enough to play against Cristiano and I was also lucky enough to play with Brazilian Ronaldo for four years,”

Beckham has gone on to start up a football franchise in Miami that would be playing in the MLS next year and the former England captain is still a treble winner with Manchester United, a member of the original Galacticos and a name that is synonymous with free kicks the world over. let’s not forget his famous Mohawk at the 2002 World Cup in Korea and Japan.
