share on:

The Rogers cup is about to be set alight with another battle of siblings as world number 4 tennis player, Andy is set to clash with his elder brother Jamie Murray in a doubles match at the Rogers cup

While Andy is the current world number 3 and is Britain’s number 1 singles players, his brother, Jamie is the country’s highest ranked doubles player and would make for an interesting encounter as it is the first time in a long time bith siblings have come u against each other in a tour. Andy Murray would be pairing up with Leander Paes while Jamie would pair with long time partner, John Peers. With both teams in form, they are set to do battle in the second round of the Rogers cup

Andy Murray is through to the second round of the singles event after he was given a bye and is set to meet Tony Roberdo.

t is kinda weird but not unsusual that two siblings are on opposite sides of a doubles tennis match.
