#ReceiversOfTheKoko: Celebs Who’ve Been Linked With Dbanj

share on:

Dbanj’s koko is probably more popular than his songs these days and the reason is not exactly far-fetched.

However, if you don’t know the reason google is your friend.

See, the guy spent more than half of his career singing about “the koko”, named his young female fans “kokolets” and called himself the “koko master” so basically we (unfortunately) had to think of his koko whether we liked it or not.

And just in case you thought singing was all what the master wanted to do with the koko, Dbanj proved to us that he does like to share his koko too.

Over the past few years, we have tried to pin a Mrs Dbanj on him and because he’d hardly declare his love publicly for anyone, it has been quite hard.

However, he might not be the one to publicly declare his love but he’s one to like a certain type – heiresses to multi million naira business empires and female celebs.

Here’s a list of five women who have been linked to the Koko master and who might have had a feel of the much talked about koko.

Dbanj and Genevieve Nnaji

A few years ago, Dbanj and Genevieve were probably the most talked about celebrity couple especially since Dbanj publicly declared his love for her at the 2010 MAMAs and they were spotted together numerous times after then.

However, it was reported to be a publicity stunt years later.

Ok.

But do you wonder if they ever did stunts in private?  We’d kill to know that.

Dbanj and Jennifer Obayuwana

According to Jennifer, the relationship became public knowledge after they pretty much ended things.

Anyway, these two had a relationship for a while before it hit the rocks some three to four years ago, attended high profile events and even wore fur together. Which qualifies Jennifer to be on this list. And which means she was receiving the koko at a point.

After they broke up, Jennifer told a popular soft sell magazine about Dbanj

I left him because he’s a womanizer, you know now.

We don’t know, Jen. But can we know how the koko was though? Long thing or short thing?

Dbanj and Nadia Buari

If you’re like me, then you would assume the only time Dbanj and Nadia were together was in his hit song Oliver Twist when he sang about her and garri.

But back in 2011, Nadia was reportedly spotted in the Koko master’s house only clad in a “sexy night attire”.

The crooner is currently in a hush hush romance with Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari. The actress was spotted a fortnight ago, precisely on Friday and Saturday, October 14th and 15th 2011 at the crooner’s house where she spent the weekend and paraded herself in a sexy night attire.

Other sources also confirm that the two have been an item long before now and have been spotted many times together in Ghana as well.

This report from Stella Dimorkokus who worked as a reporter in Encomium back then is all we have regarding this major happening.

Smooth.

Give it up to the only recipient of the koko who wasn’t caught even with a picture #KokoMamaOfLife.

Dbanj and Adama Indimi

Y’all would agree that it is very hard to not fall in love with someone who’s the heiress to a large business empire. So we kinda get why Dbanj had to fall for this beauty and daughter to one of the richest men in Africa. He stood no chance. Poor man.

Anyway, Adama might be the most current recipient of the koko seeing as she got the whole shout out on Instagram about a week ago.

Dbanj and Bonang Matheba

Dbanj and Bonang confirmed their relationship with this picture

Dbanj and Bonang 2 But before we could say koko, they’d turned their backs on the relationship

Dbanj and Bonang Dbanj might have broken up cos of that jumpsuit but that’s not the case here, the case is did she get the koko?
