Barcelona picked up another UEFA Super Cup win as they triumphed 5-4 in what was an increadible nine-goal thriller that saw them come from behind to win
Barcelona were behind as early as the 3rd minute when Ever Banega put his side in front. It only took 4 minutes for Barcelona to equalize via a Lionel Messi free kick before the Argentine made it two from two free kicks in the 15th minute. Rafinha and Suarez helped Barcelona race into a 4- lead with goals in the 44th and 52nd minutes respectively. Sevilla began their fight-back in the 57th minute through Jose Antonio Reyes before Kevin Gameiro scored a penalty in the 72nd minute. Konoplyanka completed the comeback for Sevilla in the 81st minute to take the match into extra time. With 5 minutes left before penalties, Manchester United target, Pedro pounced on a rebound to score the winner in one of the most thrilling UEFA Super Cup matches ever.
Luis Enrique was right to hold on to Pedro until at least after this game as the player won the game for his side and adds another medal to his already illustrious collection.
