Reports have it that Xherdan Shaqiri has completed his move to Stoke City for a deal worth £12 million.
The Switzerland international completed the record deal to become the ninth signing for Stoke City this summer and will join them for Saturday’s trip to Tottenham.
The deal was thought to have fell through, but with the midfielder spotted at the Brittania Stadium during Liverpool’s win over Stoke City, Mark Hughes says the talks were rekindled.
He told the club’s official website: “He’s a dynamic and explosive player who will bring something different to the group and at the age of 23 he still has a great deal of potential.
“In the chats I’ve had with him it’s obvious that he’s excited about playing in the Premier League and showing what he’s capable of.”
