The Nigerian Broadcasting Commission has released a list of songs that should not be played on Nigerian radio and television outfits.

A number of reasons were giving for banning the songs, which include both Nigerian and international songs.

Some, like Phyno‘s Yayo and Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda were banned for having “obscene videos.”

Others, like Reminisce’s Tesojue and Lil Kesh’s Gbese, were banned for having “vulgar lyrics.”

Olamide appeared most on the list, with BoboFalila Ketan, and Masterkraft’s Indomie all banned from broadcasting.
