Stones is all but set to depart Goodison park this season despite Roberto Martinez insisting that the England defender is not for sale. Everton have already rejected two bids from Chelsea and the london club are set to send in a third bid which is believed to be worth around 30 million pounds. Everton are yet to budge on the transfer but you get the feeling that it is just a matter of time. Manchester United are set to be preparing a bid for Stones in order to ensure that they have a safety net incase they miss out on Nicolas Otamendi and the Old Trafford outfit are willing to pay up to 30 million pounds for John Stones.
