Manchester City are doing some great business in the summer transfer window and the Etihad outfit have identified Kevin De Bruyne as their major transfer target and have offered an outrageous wage outlay to the Belgian in order to force his hand.
Manchester City have already been able to force the hand of Wolfsburg after a 58 million pound bid broke the German side’s resolve and Manchester City went on to Kevin De Bruyne. De Bruyne was left out of Wolfsburg’s clash with Schalke later today as the attacking midfielder who currently holds the record for most assists in the Bundesliga in one season is already in negotiations with Manchester City. De Bruyne’s agent, told reporters that the wage offering by Manchester City was too good to pass up and that a few issues needed to be clarified before the move was final. Manchester City are reportedly set to pay De Bruyne a hefty £160,000 for his services every week. Wolfsburg chief executive; Klaus Allofs has already given up hope of keeping the 24 year old as he told reporters that “money was now the issue”
If De Bruyne completes his move this weekend, he obviously would not play on Saturday, but Manchester City would receive a huge boost as De Bruyne and Silva in the same midfield as Yaya Toure and an attacker like Aguero could be what Manchester City need to catapult them to another league title this season
