Manchester City captain, Vincent Kompany was full of praise for his international teammate, Eden Hazard ahead of his side’s clash with Hazard and his Chelsea teammates.
Mancheter City would host Chelsea on Saturday on the back of a 3-0 win over West Brom and the Manchester City defender was speaking to the press about the importance of the early heavyweight clash in the premier league. Kompany singled out Hazard as the deadliest player in Mourinho’s squad and even joked abou the player claiming that he hoped the 23 year old would get so sick that he (Kompany) would be spared the horror of ging up against the Belgian winger. You’d almost hope that Eden Hazard would have diarrhea,” Kompany told Het Nieuwsblad .
“Now let’s be serious. You can’t underestimate the impact he has on Chelsea. And then you’ll expect he would have a dip in his performance level. Last week, against Swansea, he maybe didn’t play his best first half, but when they were reduced to 10, he was the only one who was dangerous”
Chelsea would be looking to bounce back from a shock 2-2 draw against Swansea City at Stamford Bridge as they visit the Etihad and to do so, Mourinho and his medical staff would have to puy their ongoing row behind them
