Thomas Tuchel has revealed that he is delighted with Dortmund’s show of dominance in their 3-1 defeat over Hertha Berlin.
Dortmund continued their perfect start to the league, thanks to goals from Hummels, Aubameyang and Ramos to make a late Kalou strike irrelevant.
Tuchel is delighted with how Dortmund ensured a win after a shaky start.
“We struggled to get into the game,” he told reporters. “Hertha sat very deep and we had to defend carefully twice.
“After the drinks break in the first half, we became very dominant and after half time we increased the pressure further.
“I was also happy that we kept on pushing after going 2-0 up.”
Tuchel admitted that Dortmund could bring in some new players ahead of the close of the transfer window.
“Transfers are not necessary, but possible. It depends on whether it makes sense.”
