According to Wolfsburg boss, Dieter Hecking, the unsettled talks with City is affecting midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne.
Hecking believes his charge is being affected mentally and physically, with City keen on luring the Belgium international back to the premier league after failing at Chelsea.
City are prepared to break the bank again, if that’s what it takes to get Wolfsburg to sell the midfielder to them.
“Kevin is a bit tired at the moment because there is so much happening around him,” Hecking was quoted as saying by Bild.
“He finds himself in a situation that is on his mind all the time, just like it has been over the past few weeks.
“We are just trying to get him in the best shape possible.”
De Bruyne’s contract with Wolfsburg runs until June 2019.
