Breaking: Borno State Deputy Gov Umar Mustapha Is Reported Dead, Find Out What Killed Him

Borno State Government has announced the death of Alhaji Zannah Umar Mustapha, the state Deputy Governor.

According to report, he died of cardiac arrest in Yola, Adamawa state in his sleep at a Government House guest room in the state capital early this morning.

The Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Usman Jidda Shuwa, in a statement said Mustapha died in his sleep on Saturday morning in Yola, Adamawa State where he was to represent Borno Government at the convocation ceremony of Modibbo Adama University of Science and Technology, Yola.

The state governor, Kashim Shettima, also corroborated Mr. Mustapha’s death.
