Barcelona manager, Luis Enrique has compared Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi to Jamaican Sprinter, Usain Bolt as he described both athletes as the best in their sports.
Following a great run, Usain Bolt beat Justin Gatlin for the second time in a few days to pick up the gold medal for the 200 meters sprint in the IAAF world championships and Enrique took time to talk about the gifted sprinter and the iconic forward. “You could make a good comparison between Messi and Bolt,” he told reporters. “Bolt is the best sprinter of all time and is a brand and I think Messi is the best player of all time.” Enrique also took time to talk about the UEFA champions league groups as he identified a challenge while staying very optimistic “It is a very attractive, very difficult group, no doubt. It’s not as difficult as Sevilla’s group – they drew Juventus, Manchester City and Borussia Monchengladbach, but it is difficult. The former Barcelona and Porto man then added “We will try to do something that nobody has done in modern times, winning two Champions League titles.”
It is not a farfetched theory to compare Bolt and Messi as both athletes are not only setting new records everyday but they also break the records they’ve set.
If Bolt is Messi does that make Cristiano Ronaldo Gatlin?
