Bayern Munich have confirmed that Brazilian defender, Dante is set to join Wolfsburg within the next 48 hours as the deal has been sealed as Wolfsburg have begun spending their earnings from the De Bruyne deal.
Since the arrival of Medhi Benatia, Dante has lost his place in the first team and has had to be content with appearing from the bench or in cup games or as a back up to Boateng and Benatia. Dante missed Bayern Munich’s photoshoot for the season and speculations about the player’s departure began to fly around. The player’s agent denied the allegations but ion the coming days, Dante looked more and more set to leave Munich. Last week, Bayer Munich CEO, Karl Heinze Rummennigge announced that Dante was set to leave and today, Bayern Munich announced that Dante would be joining Wolfsburg.
