Robert Fernandez, Barcelona’s new technical secretary, has confirmed that the club are confident of being able to keep hold of the unsettled pair of Pedro and Adriano.
Both players frequently found themselves playing second fiddle last term and as such they have been linked with moves away from the Camp Nou this summer.
When speaking at his presentation, Fernandez said:
“Pedro? His buyout clause is 30 million euros. He’s a player that has performed fantastically for Barca. Both the manager and I want him to stay. We don’t want to lose him but we know that this is a risky situation and we’ll have to wait. If he goes, we’ll lose a lot of things.”
