Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed the team will not be forced into panic buying after a shock 2-0 defeat to West Ham.
New signing Petr Cech suffered a very rare bad day, playing a major part in both goals.
Wenger however, stated that the lacklustre performance from his players wouldn’t force him to buy any reinforcements.
Wenger after West Ham defeat: “West Ham were a bit ahead of us because they had played many competitive games and preparation is preparation, you never get that same intensity.
“But overall, well done West Ham and we have to keep our focus and it’s just the start of the season and I am convinced we will respond well to that accident.
“When you don’t win a game buy buy buy, we bought and we still lost the game today, we listen to people but as well we have to focus on the quality of our performance.”
