After he was dropped from the Community Shield lineup due to an injury, it has been confirmed that Jack Wilshere’s leg injury is much worse.
Manager Arsene Wenger revealed that a hairline fracture in his left fibula will keep Wilshere out yet again.
The injury was sustained during a collision with teammate Gabriel Paulista in training, which led to some fans threatening the former Villareal player on Twitter.
Thank you for ending my boy’s career and ruining my title dream. I swear to God if I see you I’ll kill you. Believe that @gpaulista5.

Wanting that cunt Gabriel in the team should be a crime. Mertesacker is 10x the defender and doesn’t injure his own fucking players

Wenger didn’t mention how long Wilshere’s leg injury would keep him sidelined for.
“The information you have heard about Jack Wilshere is right,” Wenger told Arsenal.com.
“I had a bad surprise because it is a hairline crack in his fibula that makes him a few weeks out.”
“There is minimal damage apart from the bone damage – there is no damage at all apart from that. It was a collision in training and it was all completely accidental,” added Wenger.
He is expected to miss 2 months of football action due to the injury.
