Arsenal and Chelsea are set to meet in the first competitive fixture of the 2015/2016 season, the English Community Shield.

The match will the 14th meeting between managers Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger, with Mourinho yet to lose one match.

Arsenal, who won the FA Cup last year, have been impressive in the pre-season, and the signing of Petr Cech will have boosted the Gunners’ hopes of major silverware this year.

It will be the second time both teams will meet in the Community Shield, with Chelsea winning the first clash 2-1 in 2005.

Gary Cahill and Diego Costa are expected to be available for the match after recovering from injuries, but Arsenal will miss Alexis Sanchez, who is still on break following the Copa America.
