Sunderland winger, Adam Johnson is set to be out for at least two months with an injury according to Sunderland manager, Dick Advocaat.
Advocaat told the press that the English winger who took part in Sunderland’s 4-2 loss to Leicester City at the weekend had suffered a serious injury and could be out for two months or more. Advocaat told the reporters that the winger was going in for a scan to determine the extent of the injury and what course of action would be taken.
Adam Johnson is currently out on bail as the winger is being tried for having sexual relations with an underage girl earlier this year.
Sunderland did not get the start to the season they wanted as they went down to Leicester City and would be looking to boune back at the weekend but would have to do it without Johnson
