Victor Valdes is questioning a lot of things about Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal, one being his memory.
Valdes had been dropped from United’s team to tour the United States, and Van Gaal claimed it was due to Valdes’ refusal to play for the U21 team.
“Last year, he refused to play in the second team and there are other aspects you need as a keeper at United,” the Dutchman had said in an interview.
“When you are not willing to follow those principles, there is only one way and that is out.”
Valdes responded to the allegations on Twitter, posting a collage of 3 U21 matches and a picture of himself with the team.
The matches were the club’s u21 matches against Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham, matches which Valdes had played in.
He captioned the photo: “…..?

If Valdes did indeed play for the reserve team, then it remains to be seen what van Gaal’s true reason is for wanting him out.
