Good news in the Arsenal camp today as Theo Walcott signs a new four-year deal and Santi Cazorla has also committed to a new deal.
The 26-year-old England international who is also arsenal’s longest-serving player entered into the final leg of his contract, but Wenger assured on Sunday that a new deal was in the works.
Walcott put pen to paper on a four-year deal that pays £140, 000 per week, while Cazorla spurned interest from Atleti by committing his future to the gunners.
“We’re delighted to have extended the contracts of Santi and Theo. Both are top quality players who are hugely important and influential to our squad,” Wenger told Arsenal’s official website.
“As well as their huge contributions on the pitch, they both have a great deal of experience and are very popular off the pitch. We’re very pleased with them both signing contract extensions, as it provides our squad with further stability of quality.”
